1. Bookmark charging stations
When you bookmark charging stations, you’ll always be the first to know when something changes—whether it's a new challenge, updated user feedback, or a status update.Bookmarking ensures you never miss an update from your favorite stations.
&Chargie Julius from Munich currently holds the record with over 700 bookmarked stations: „I really enjoy staying updated on stations I’ve visited before. For example, it’s great when I find out a station is working again after it had issues during my last visit. It also interests me when I see that a location is being expanded or rebuilt.“

2. Reserve challenges in advance:
Planning a trip and passing by multiple challenges? Reserve them right before departure and - if all goes well - you might even cover your charging costs along the way.
&Chargie Julien from France, who has reserved and completed over 300 challenges in a single month, shares: „I mainly reserve because there aren’t many challenges near where I live. So I reserve everything I can and complete as many as possible when I’m on the road!“
No surprise that Julien has already completed over 5,000 challenges.

3. Create your own challenge tours:
Did you know? If you reserve multiple challenges, you can create your own tour directly in the app. No more tedious manual planning—you can build your ideal route and combine it with completing challenges.
&Chargie Adrien from Belgium puts together over 20 tours a month and swears by it:
"I started using the route planner as soon as it was introduced. It’s super helpful for optimizing routes and getting a sense of how long the trip will take. I use it every time I plan to complete several challenges.“
Michele from Italy especially relies on it for city driving: „I find the planner really helpful—first, for optimizing routes and reducing drive time, and second, when there are many challenges in one city or region.“

PRO TIP: Each completed challenge brings you closer to earning one of our popular bonus tours. These are curated regularly in many regions.
The rule of thumb: the more consistently you complete challenges, the better your chances of being selected for a bonus tour. Victor from France, for example, has completed 13 bonus tours and earned over 5,000 bonus kilometers. Even better—thanks to his participation, many issues at the visited charging stations were discovered and fixed!
4. Challenge route planner & Android Auto:
Once you’re ready to start your tour and navigate to your reserved challenges, use our route planner. Just click on your tour, and navigation will automatically launch via Google Maps or Apple Maps. You can navigate to up to 8 challenges at the same time! If you’re on Android, you can also use the &Charge app directly with Android Auto.
&Chargie Bernhard from Germany regularly uses it for city trips: “Reserve challenges, navigate to them—it all works smoothly. I’ve had no issues at all. The features are just right.”
And Andreas, also from Germany, uses &Charge with Android Auto during his daily drives: “I’m often out early for appointments and use the app to see what challenges I can complete along the way. It’s really helpful.”
